Taking snapshots of lab VMs
- [Man] In this video I'll demonstrate how to use VMware Workstation to take snapshots of your virtual machines. So, here you can see I've got a bunch of virtual machines running in my lab environment. And I'm going to focus on this router VM. So the router VM configuration is pretty basic. I'm just using the exact configuration that came with Autolab, but, things my go wrong. I might have some kind of problem with my router. I might mess around with the configuration of it. Try and do some different things. And I may want the ability to revert back to the way things were. So my recommendation is, as you get these home lab machines working, and they are functioning the way you want. You can right click a virtual machine, go to snapshot and take a snapshot of that virtual machine. And so I'm just going to call this snapshot Router Initial Working Configuration. And I'm going to go ahead and take a snapshot of that…
