Managing networking in vSphere - vSphere Tutorial

- Welcome to Part One of my vSphere6.7 Professional course. And in this section, we'll focus on networking. VMware provides some great hands-on labs that you can do for free. And those will really help reinforce what you learn in this section. So here's a couple of the labs that I recommend. Number one, HOL1910-01. This is the Virtualization 101 hands-on lab. And if we take a look at what's included in this lab, module two of the lab is an Introduction to Networking and Security. So that's a real basic hands-on lab for networking basics. And then if we scroll down a little bit, HOL1911-03, vSphere with Operations Management- Advanced Topics. Covers some of the advanced networking features that we learn about in this section of the course. So I strongly recommend completing those hands-on labs. They're available at hol.vmware.com. And VMware provides these as a free service, a really great service, so take advantage of it. Now just remember, if you are a vSphere beginner, I strongly recommend completing my VMware vSphere 6.5 Essential Training Part One and Two. I know that it's vSphere 6.5, but frankly, there haven't been changes that are that substantial, that most of the knowledge doesn't directly transfer. And if you're relatively new to vSphere, getting this essential training initially is a great way to get started and build that basic knowledge. Some of the things in this vSphere 6.7 Professional series of lectures are going to be a little bit more advanced. And so if you're a beginner, vSphere 6.5 Essentials Training Part One and Two will be a great way to help you get started. So thanks for taking my vSphere 6.7 Professional course.
