- [Rick] In this video, we'll start to focus on vRealize, and some of the products included in vRealize suite. So the purpose of vRealize is to allow you to start meeting some of the needs of the modern IT department. We need to be able to rapidly deploy applications, and this puts pressure on IT, not only to deploy those applications, but to maintain control over the quality of those applications and of the security posture of them as well. On top of that, this sprawling set of applications and virtual machines and containers, we have to manage good resource utilization. We have to make sure that we are using our physical resources efficiently, and that we are monitoring for dips in performance. So vRealize is the answer to many of these problems. It can provide us with application and infrastructure delivery automation. On top of that, it can help us manage our data center as well, by simplifying and streamlining the operations and management of a virtual data center. VRealize…
