- [Rick] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to work with virtual machine templates and how they can be used to create multiple virtual machines from a single image. And I'm going to be demonstrating these tasks using the vSphere client on a lab kit at hol.vmware.com. So, let's start by going to VMs and Templates, and under VMs and Templates, I'm just going to expand this particular virtual data center and you can see here, I've got a couple of virtual machines that are already created. One of which is called template-01a. Now I'm just going to quickly rename this to kind of simplify what we're doing here. I'm going to call it PerfectVM. So, this is some virtual machine that I've created. I've installed my operating system, I've got it all updated, I've basically configured this virtual machine exactly the way that I want my virtual machines to be configured, all the necessary services are enabled or disabled and…
