- [Instructor] In this video, I'll show you how to preform … an interactive upgrade of an ESXi host … from ESXi 6.5 to ESXi 6.7, … and so you can see here, I have a functioning ESXi host … with ESXi 6.5.0 already running on the host. … So what I'm going to do is, … I'm actually going shut this host down, … so I'll hit F12 here, and I'll put in my root password. … There are no running VMs on this host, … but if I wanted to, I could forcefully terminate them, … so I'm going to shut down this ESXi host now, … and then what I'm going to do is, … I'm going to boot it from the ESXi 6.7 installation media. … Okay, so now my host is shut down, … I'm going to right-click the host … and I'm going to go to Settings, … and I'm going to go to my CD drive, … and you can see it's already selected … to connect at power on. … I'm going to browse to the correct ISO image … that I want to boot this host from, … and you can see here, last time around, … I booted it from this file, … the ESXi 6.5 installer. …
