Demo: Import an OVF template in vSphere 6.7

- [Rick] In this video I'll demonstrate how to deploy a virtual machine from an OVF template. So I'm going to start by clicking on hosts and clusters. And under hosts and clusters, I'm going to choose one of my ESXI hosts, and I'm going to click on deploy OVF template. And it's going to ask me, "Okay, where are we getting "the OVF template from?" So what an OVF template is, is it's basically an image of a virtual machine. We, or somebody else, has created this virtual machine, done all the configuration of it, and captured that virtual machine as an OVF template. And now we simply want to take that captured image of that virtual machine, and deploy it as a new VM. So maybe we're working with a vendor and they give us a URL where we can get their OVF template from. That's one possibility. Or maybe we've downloaded an OVF template as a local file.
