- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to demonstrate a failure. I'm going to show you when an ESXi host in a VCM cluster fails, what the results of that are. So, here you can see, in my hosts and clusters field, I've got a cluster. And on this cluster, I've got vSAN enabled. And there's some health check alarms here that we have that are problematic. I'm going to ignore these for the moment, because we're not really concerned with those. So, I'm going to get them out of the way, just so that we're not looking at them. And you can see here on this cluster, I've got one virtual machine running. Here's my VM, it's called Demo. And this VM is stored on the vsanDataStore. So you can see here for the Hard disk, it's actually stored on my vsanDataStore, and the virtual machine is running on host esx-02a. So, what I am now going to do is I'm going to go ahead and grab this host, and I'm going to Reboot it. I'm not going to put it in maintenance mode, I'm not gong to evacuate any of the data…
