- [Rick] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to configure a vSphere High Availability cluster. But before you watch this video, I just want to let you know that this is actually recorded in vSphere 6.5, that I would not anticipate seeing this content on your VCP exam. However, I wanted to include this video so that you could have a review of High Availability configuration. And not much has changed between vSphere 6.5 and vSphere 6.7. The most substantial difference is that this recording is created using the old vSphere web client. So here you can see we've already created a cluster and it contains two ESXi hosts and one running virtual machine. So I'm going to start by clicking on my cluster and choosing configure. And under configure I can go to the vSphere availability option. And at the moment High Availability is turned off and proactive HA is turned off. Okay, so let's go ahead and click on edit.
