- [Instructor] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to create a software iSCSI initiator connection from your ESXI host to a storage array. So, here we can see if we look at my ESXI host, alright, we're looking at my host, and we've clicked on configure and storage adapters. Now, you can see a number of storage adapters here, once of which is the iSCSI software adapter. Alright, if you don't have one of these on your host currently, you can just click this little green plus button, and you can see it's grayed out for me, it's because I've already created it. Basically, you just hit that plus button and create a software iSCSI adaptor and this will appear. Initially, it's not really providing you with anything, alright? We can see we've got a software adaptor here. There are no devices listed though, right? So the goal here is to connect to an iSCSI storage device and to see a list of ones presented here on this devices list, and we can then use those ones to create data stores. So, in…
