- [Rick] In this video I'll demonstrate how to deploy the vCenter Server Appliance in vSphere 6.7. Now the first step that I'm going to take is actually downloading my media. And I've signed up for VMUG Advantage Eval Experience to get all the media that I'm going to need to perform these demos. So I'm just going to go ahead and grab the vCenter Server Media. Now before I deploy my vCenter Server Appliance, the first thing I'm going to do is go to my DNS server, and within my DNS server, I need to make sure that the appropriate entries have been created for my vCenter Server Appliance. So I'm just going to go ahead to DNS Manager, and then I'm going to check my Forward Lookup Zones, and here's my Forward Lookup Zone, Lab.local, and you can see here I've got some old entries for some old vCenter Server Appliances. I'm going to go ahead and remove those, and I'm going to create a new DNS record for my new vCenter Server…
