- [Rick] In this video, we'll go over the resource configuration tasks for a virtual machine in the vSphere Client in vSphere 6.7. So I'm going to start by clicking on hosts and clusters. And here you can see I've got a virtual machine that I've created. It's currently powered off. I'm just going to go ahead and power it on. And then I'm going to right-click the virtual machine, and click on edit settings. So, I wanted to power the virtual machine on because I want to explain a few things that are potentially available here, depending on whether the virtual machine is currently powered off or powered on. Now the VM is powered on, I don't have the ability to modify the number of CPUS. I don't have the ability to modify the amount of memory. Now if you keep watching this course, eventually I'll show you how to do this even when a virtual machine is powered on. But right now what I really want to focus on is the fact that…
