- [Instructor] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to clone a virtual machine. So, I'm gonna start by simply grabbing this App VM, and right clicking it, and under the App VM, I have the option to clone this virtual machine either to a template, or to another virtual machine. So, I'm gonna clone it to another virtual machine. I'm gonna call it Rick Crisci App Clone. It's gonna be the name of my virtual machine. I'll go ahead and hit next, and I'll get to pick as ESXI host for this close to run on. I'll hit next one more time. I'll chose the virtual disk format, which is going to be thin provisioned in this case. Then I've gotta put it on my big data store. I'll hit next, and at this point, I'm gonna choose a couple options here. Right, I'm gonna choose to customize the guest operating system.
