From the course: vSphere 6.7 Professional Part 09: Backup and Recovery

Backup and recovery

- [Instructor] Hello and welcome to part nine of my vSphere 6.7 professional course and this is the last part of the course. So if you've been going in order, from parts one through nine, congratulations, you're just about ready to tackle that VMware certified professional exam. Now as usual, I want to mention a great free hands-on lab from hol.vmware.com. VMware provides these great hands on labs. And before I talk you through the lab that I recommend in this particular part of the course, I just want to say all of these labs come from VMware's big event of the year, VMworld. So if you ever decide to attend VMworld, you'll be able to perform these labs in a state of the art lab environment on premise there. And so eventually, they release some of these labs to their hol.vmware.com platform and allow you to do them for free. But if you want the cutting edge labs, going to VMworld is a great way to really immerse yourself in VMware technology And learn a whole bunch. That being said, let's take a look at this lab HOL-1911-02. You may have already completed this lab if you've been going through this course in order, but in case you haven't, you'll notice that lab modules seven and eight are related to the vCenter Server Appliance migration and high availability and business continuity. So those are the lab modules that you really want to focus on related to this particular part of the course. And as you wrap up part nine, you should have gone through the vast majority of the labs that are available here under Software Defined Data Center and you should have gone through some of the free hands on labs that are available under Hyper-Converged like the vSAN Getting Started lab and the Virtual Volumes and Storage Policy lab. So hopefully you've gotten a good deal of hands on experience as you've been going through and preparing to take your VCP exam. So thanks and enjoy learning about vSphere backup and recovery.
