Join Ben Brownlee for an in-depth discussion in this video Setting up preferences: System settings, part of mocha 3 Essential Training.
…So most of the system preferences here…we're going to leave at default, so we have…things like auto save, which will save a…backup of your project every 15 minutes here.…We can change the interval to every ten minutes or every five minutes.…On Mocha Pro, you'll also save images every frame, and what this will do is…that as soon as an image is created in memory, it's going to save it out.…So this could be useful in, in certain modules.…We start to play around…with particular parameters to see if it's working or not and you don't want to…have to press Render for it to write out a frame to a to the memory.…
I actually choose to have this turned off because I like…to be able to control when Mocha is writing out to disk.…The UI look and feel, let's change it from a Window frame, which is what…we have up here, so we have the standard operating system Windows going on here.…And we have this set to full screen, this then takes…away those other windows and just gives us…a little bit more real estate to play with.…
