Join David Rivers for an in-depth discussion in this video Working with content in table cells, part of Numbers 3 Essential Training.
Let's spend a little time now, focusing on the data…that we would add to a table, here in Numbers.…There are some shortcuts, and some options…you should know about.…To do that, we're gonna continue working…with our "KEcoBudget" file here, we've added this table…on the profit-loss summary sheet,…and the cells that we see here that are empty,…well, that data's going to come from the other…sheets in the file, so let's go to "Income Details."…Now here we see a sheet that's filled with a table…full of data, for various months and quarters,…and this came from an Excel spreadsheet…when we imported it.…
So the data's already there, some of these cells…have the little flags that you see, and those flags…indicate something went wrong during the import,…or something simply didn't translate,…and when we click those, we can see…unsupported, conditional, highlighting rules were removed.…So, we see that we have the formulas, and so on,…but the formatting that was set up in Excel,…didn't come across, and that's okay,…we can just press "Escape" there.…
