Join David Rivers for an in-depth discussion in this video Using text boxes, part of Numbers 3 Essential Training.
Voiceover: You know, Numbers is so much more…than just tables and charts.…There are many other objects that can be added…to a spreadsheet to really make it stand out.…So, in this chapter we're going to look at…some of those things, including text boxes,…which we touched on in the previous chapter,…but we'll look at in more detail, right now,…using our KinetEco budget file we've been building…and if you've skipped to this chapter and this movie,…open up K-Eco budget 0801, and you'll have what I have.…We're on the profit loss summary sheet,…and maybe we want to add a little bit of information…about our company.…
We can add a text box and do a lot of things…with a text box to really make it stand out on our page.…We already have one on this sheet down at the bottom.…The more information text box,…as you can see, is very plain.…There's no border, there's no shading,…it's just straight text and it's all on a single line.…We can see when we select it,…we have handles on the left and the right…so we can size things the way we want using those handles…
