In the previous movie we started a brand new…spreadsheet from scratch,…and input some basic data.…But here's a common scenario,…maybe you already have the data somewhere else.…Maybe it's in a table in a Pages document,…or maybe it's an Excel spreadsheet…that someone's handed to you.…You want to bring it into Numbers.…No problem.…Let's look at both of those scenarios.…Now we'll start though with a fresh spreadsheet.…Let's go to the file menu,…and select new or use command N on the keyboard.…And from the template chooser,…we'll double click blank.…
That launches a brand new file with the default table…and the default formatting.…Notice the cell that's selected is cell B2.…It's the first empty cell under the header row…and to the right of the header column.…That's important if we're going to bring data…into the existing table.…That's one option.…Let's see how it works out for us.…First though, we'll need to switch to Pages.…So you can launch Pages and open up this file,…KEcoBudget0202.…If you don't have pages,…you'll just have to watch and see what's happening.…
