Join David Rivers for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding a table, part of Numbers 3 Essential Training.
You know the backbone or the foundation of any number…spreadsheet are the tables that appear in those sheets.…We’re going to dedicate this entire chapter…to working with tables in greater detail.…Beginning with deleting a table, and adding our own.…We’re going to do it with this file Kecobudget0301.…It should look familiar to you…if you’ve been following along.…You’ll find this in the chapter…three folder of your exercise files,…but this is a file that came from Excel.…It’s got several sheets including a profit loss…summary sheet where you can see there…is a table here with a little bit of formatting.…
There’s a logo as well but you can…see many of the cells aren’t being used,…and there are some simple calculations being performed here.…Instead probably what we should do is get…rid of this and create our own version.…So, let’s click anywhere in the table.…Now click the button in the top left corner.…From here you can hit the delete…key on your keyboard and it’s gone.…We’ll get rid of the logo for now as well.…
