Using the exercise files

If your Lynda.com membership includes it, you'll find a collection of hands on exercise files that you can use. These are some of my personal photos from two recent trips. Feel free to use them for educational purposes, to get really hands on, and explore how these techniques work. I do ask the favor, though, that when you're done, you to discard the images. Please do not use these for any other purposes. All right. Once you've downloaded the files, and put them on your computer, you can launch iPhoto, while holding down the Option key. You'll see that you're presented with the option to select a library.

In this case, I'm going to use the Enhancing_Photos_Start. I choose that, and iPhoto opens with the images. At this point, we're going to explore, and to make more room for adjustments, I will go to full screen mode by clicking the Full Screen button. There are lots of techniques, so let's jump in, and start to learn iPhoto.
