Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Swapping photos in a layout, part of Creating Photo Books with iPhoto.
As you lay out pictures in your book, you may want to swap the layout.…Now, you've already seen as quickly show this technique, but I want to explore…just how flexible it is.…When you're on a page, it's very easy to switch between these two pictures.…I like both of these photos and I see benefits, but what's kind of happening is…this is opening out to the outside edge of the book and it's kind of a dead space …and this one is pulling me in.…I think I want to switch the order of those two pictures and I think that's a better layout.…
Now, as I'm making these adjustments here, I do want to point out that …it's super easy to make a change.…In this case the two blue skies are not matching, so I want to just boost the colors a bit.…I'll double-click on that and I could edit the photo and I'll take advantage …of just a quick Boost to really start to push the colors,…and a little more Saturation.…I think that looks good.…We'll bring that up, and I like that.…We'll explore all of these adjustments more, but the two blues are feeling a lot better.…
