Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Double-checking your spelling, part of Creating Photo Books with iPhoto.
The longer I have been out of school, the harder it is to get my spelling correct, …but that's okay;…iPhoto has some built-in tools to help me.…I could choose from the Edit Menu>Spelling and you see that we could bring up…the controls here for Spelling and Grammar.…This brings up a dialogue and it allows you to go through and check it.…I'll generally go in and leave that Window open.…With the text selected here, you'll see that it's checking.…I could check grammar as well.…
This can also be accessed by right-clicking and choosing the ability …to Check the Document Now.…This will go through and look for any spelling errors.…Now, let's purposely have a spelling error and go to a different page.…When I tell it to check spelling, notice it only checks the current page that you're on.…So, you might want to be careful and make sure that you don't assume …that everything is correct.…
I generally recommend going through one page at a time.…That will make it easier for you to find errors.…So, go from Text Block to Text Block looking at it and making sure you check for errors.…
