- Hey, everybody, Sean Duggan here. … Welcome to Nevada City, California, … and this week on Mobile Photography Weekly … we are shooting in the blue hour. … So the blue hour is that time right after sunset … when it's that twilight time of the evening … before the sky gets fully dark. … It's a beautiful blue color. … It really is a great time to be exploring night photography. … It's the beginning of the evening so it's a good time … to start your night photography, … and sometimes you can get … some of the best photographs there. … Now, earlier in this series in a previous episode, … I showed you how to add handwritten text over a photo, … and one of the photos that I used was this composition … right here of the gas street lamp … and this lit up building in the back. … So this is how I did this shot. … Actually, I didn't even have a tripod when I did the shot. … I was able to handhold it, and that's one of the cool things … about photographing in the blue hour, … is just how easy it is to do with modern camera phones. …
