- [Sean] Hi, I'm Sean Duggan, and this week on Mobile Photography Weekly, I'm going to show you one of the best things about one of my favorite photography apps, the selective editing capabilities of Lightroom CC for IOS and Android. So before we begin, let me just clarify that the Lightroom app for your phone or tablet used to be called Lightroom Mobile and that makes sense, right, because those are mobile devices. Well now it's just called Lightroom CC, the same name as the desktop program that you use on your computer. The Lightroom CC app is free to use with a free Adobe ID, you don't have to have a Creative Cloud subscription, but having one of those does greatly extend the capabilities of the app. And while you can use most of the editing tools in the Lightroom CC Mobile App, some of the features, including editing raw photos and applying selective edits are only available with a Creative Cloud subscription.
