- If you've been watching this series for a while then you know that I like to blend images together. Whether in a simple double exposure type of effect or a more intricate composite that uses layers and layer masks. Hi, I'm Sean Duggan and today on Mobile Photography Weekly, I want to share with you a really interesting IOS app for image blending. It's called Union and it has a lot of really great features for this type of work. So, I'm going to open up the Union app here and initially, it takes us into the Project area. So, one cool thing about this app is that it's nice to be able to save your layered composites into the app so you can revisit them in the future and not have to worry about finishing them in one setting. I'm going to start a New Project and the first step is to go and add a background image, so I'll tap on that, and I can add either a photo, I can create a solid color fill, or I can add a blank transparent background.
