- Hi, I'm Sean Duggan, and this week I want to go over how you can set up the Lightroom Mobile app on your phone, or your tablet device, so that you can use WiFi to transfer certain images directly into your Lightroom catalog on your desktop computer. I'm going to start off with my Lightroom catalog here on my laptop, and I'm going to come up to the Lightroom menu on a Mac, this would be the Edit menu on Windows, and I'm just going to choose Preferences. And in the Preferences dialog there is a tab here for Lightroom Mobile, so I'll go into that. So, there's a setting here where you can specify the location for Lightroom Mobile images. So, these are images that are imported from your phone, that you take with your phone, or your tablet if you're photographing with that, and they're going to be stored on your computer. And if you don't specify a specific location with them, Lightroom is going to create a folder with this incredibly unwieldy name of 20 or 30 alphanumeric characters, and…
