Learn how to set up and use the iPad Pro, the largest, fastest Apple tablet.
- Thanks for joining me for Up and Running with the iPad Pro, I'm Nick Brazzi. First, let me say that this course should not be your first stop if you're looking to learn about the iPad in general. For that, you should check out Garrick Chow's iOS 9: iPhone and iPad Essential Training. This course is all about those features on the iPad Pro that you will not find on any other iPad. We'll start with a quick tour of the hardware. There's not much difference between the iPad Pro, and other iPads, aside from the size, but we'll check out the few small differences.
The main differences with the iPad Pro come with the optional accessories. We'll look at the Smart Keyboard, which is an optional cover, and physical keyboard all in one, and I'll show you some tricks for using a physical keyboard with an iPad. We'll look at the pencil, which is Apple's stylus designed specifically for the iPad Pro. We'll see the basics of using the pencil, as well as the expressive movements, like pressure and tilt, which make it a useful tool for artists, and we'll finish by looking at how some productivity apps work differently on the iPad Pro.
If you plan to use one of the Microsoft Office apps, it's important that you learn how differently the accounts and pricing work on the iPad Pro compared to other iPads. So, if you're getting started with an iPad Pro, or just considering making the purchase, I think this short course will help you out. Let's get started with Up and Running with the iPad Pro.
