Skill Level Appropriate for all
- [Nick] Thanks for joining me for this course on the iPad Pro. I'm Nick Brazzi. This course does not introduce the iPad or iOS in general. Those are topics for other courses. This course is all about those features on the iPad Pro that you will not find on any other iPad. We'll start with a quick tour of the hardware. There's not much difference between the iPad Pro and other iPads, aside from the size, but we'll check out the few small differences. The main differences with the iPad Pro come with the optional accessories.
We will look at the Smart Keyboard, which is an optional cover and physical keyboard all in one, and I'll show you some tricks for using a physical keyboard with an iPad. We'll look at the Pencil, which is Apple's stylus designed specifically for the iPad Pro. We'll see the basics of using the Pencil, as well as the expressive movements like pressure and tilt, which make it a useful tool for artists. And we'll finish by looking at how some productivity apps work differently on the iPad Pro. If you plan to use one of the Microsoft Office apps, it's important that you learn how differently the account and pricing work for those apps on the iPad Pro compared to other iPads.
So if you're getting started with an iPad Pro or considering making the purchase, I think this short course will help you out. Let's get started.
