Join Jess Stratton for an in-depth discussion in this video Turning your smartphone into a GPS device, part of Setting Up Your Mobile Office to Work from Anywhere.
GPS Apps are very subjective and it's important…that you find one that fits you the best.…I like to use the free Mapquest GPS App as…it does turn by turn voice navigation with automatic turn re-routing.…And so that's what I'm going to be showing you in this video.…But here's the thing.…This video isn't about showing you a particular GPS Is to let you…know that, at the very least, having any GPS app at all is crucial…to set up your mobile office.…And I'm just showing you the Mapquest app because it's a great example.…
Your smartphone is actually the ultimate GPS device.…It's always on you, so you can use it even if you're in someone elses car And the GPS…navigation aspect to the phone isn't dependent on spotty cell service or Wifi.…Now, clearly I'm not in the car right now but I have…a route already going, so you can see what it looks like…when you're driving.…The screen will stay illuminated and if you have a dashboard…mount in your car, you'll clearly be able to see the route.…The map will actually move while you're driving.…
