- As you saw in other movies,…you can't edit all the settings for Payroll Items…in the Payroll Set-Up interview.…Once you complete the interview, though,…you can edit these items within the Payroll Item List…to finish the job.…To do that, head up to the Menu bar and choose Lists,…then choose Payroll Item List.…Now you can see all the Payroll items you've set up…in this company file, and key values about them.…I'm gonna scroll up toward the top of this list…and here the mileage reimbursement item is set…to 45 cents a mile.…
Let's say we wanna change that to 55 cents a mile.…To edit this item, right-click it…and choose Edit Payroll Item.…That opens up a dialog box with all the fields you can set…for this particular item.…I'm gonna click next,…and really, what I wanna find is the field…for changing the amount.…The Expense Account is fine, I click Next.…Click Next again.…Tax Tracking Type is fine.…Now, now I'm getting somewhere.…
