Trim regions and add fades
- [Voiceover] Now that we know how to select regions, let's take a look at how to make specific edits and changes to those regions. I'm going to play a song from the beginning and let's pay attention to the fiddle part. - One, two, three, four. [Country music] - Okay, so the fiddle part starts with two pizzicato notes followed by two long swelling notes. Maybe just as a stylistic choice, I want to get rid of those two pluck notes and the first bowed note and start with the second bowed note. I'm going to zoom in on that waveform a little bit. So you can see there's the first plucked note. There's the second. Here's the first swell. Let's listen. [Country music] That's the one I want to come in on right there. Now there are a couple of ways I can do this. I could split the region and delete the opening section which I'll show you how to do later in this chapter. But right now, let's take a look at how to just trim the region. Every region has trim handles at the beginning and the end…
