Join Ron Buencamino for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know before watching this course, part of Communicating between Classes with Objective-C.
- Before proceeding with this course, I'm assuming that you have at least a basic level of understanding with the Objective-C programming language and that you've used Xcode to build and run your own applications on either your iOS device or Mac running OS 10. I'll also assume that you have some understanding of Object-oriented programming, specifically of how classes work along with how to set attributes, such as properties, declare public methods, and custom initialization. This is not an introductory course, meaning that we won't be going over fundamentals of the Objective-C programming language or Xcode.
Instead, we'll be expanding on fundamental concepts that you have already learned and will explore ways of advancing your abillities using built in strengths found in Cocoa and Objective-C.
