- The built in calendar app in iOS 13 is great for keeping track of your day-to-day schedule. So let's take a look at how to create and manage your events and appointments with the calendar app. I'll tap its icon to open it up. So right now I'm viewing the current day, and I can see at the top that it's August 30th, 2019. And you can see that today's date is highlighted with a red circle. Below this one week row at the top is my schedule for the day. This red horizontal line indicates the current time of day. You can see it says 2:07, if you look at the top of the screen, that is the correct time. We can see below that that I have an appointment scheduled at 5:00pm to get my car's oil changed. Tapping that appointment shows me the details. I can see that it's scheduled for 5:00 to 6:00 at the dealership. And this is an event stored in my home calendar.
