Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] To do the exercises, you'll need the starter files. Starter files are projects I created to get past the setup that isn't relevant to the topic I'm showing you or would take too long to add otherwise, which in this case includes an iPhone app. If you have access to the exercise files, you can follow along with the same project I'll be using on screen. In some folders, I'll let you know when there are assets you'll be using in the exercises. In chapter one, you'll use a simple timer app on the watch to explore background modes. This lets us see activity while not having to interact with the app. For the rest of the course, we'll be building the watch app for an iPhone pizza order app. You can pick a slice or a whole pie, and the size of the pizza, and then order it. It, too, works on a timer that tells you what stage of pizza making is happening. With these two apps, we'll learn a lot about watchOS APIs.
