- [Instructor] Sometimes in Windows you might need to install some software or make some system changes, and you're a little worried that the change can damage your system. Like maybe you're worried about malware or installing a driver that causes a problem. In this week's Monday Productivity Pointers, I want to show you a lesser known feature that can be really effective in protecting you from that. We're going to set restore points in Windows. So right now my computer is healthy. Everything is running well, and I have the software that I want. But I want to install something new from the web, and I'm not 100% sure that the thing that I'm about to install is safe. So here's what I'm going to do. I'll go to settings. So I'll go the start menu, click the gear button to go into settings. And the tool that we want is not in one of the normal settings categories.
