- [Instructor] With iOS 13, Apple has renamed the operating system for the iPad to iPad OS. And even though iPad OS and iOS 13 are still very similar, there continues to be more and more features available on the iPad that take advantage of it's larger screen and which aren't available on the iPhone. For example, the iPad has lots of ways to work with multiple apps onscreen simultaneously. And it all starts with the dock here at the bottom of the screen. Unlike on iPhones, you can get to the dock even when you're using an app. So for example, if I'm browsing in Safari, I can get to the dock with a short swipe up from the bottom of the screen. And that makes it easy to switch to another app without having to first go back to the home screen.
