- [Instructor] Hi, I'm Oliver Schinkten, and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. If you're anything like me, you're often distracted by your phone when trying to get work done. This can be extremely frustrating and can waste a lot of your valuable time. This week, I want to introduce you to an app that can help you stay focused and thus more productive. The name of the app is Forest, and you can download it on iOS or Android devices. Here. I'm on the forest app, and you can see that the interface is very simple. In the middle there's a timer which you can drag to the amount of time you want. We can go down to 10 minutes, or all the way up to 120 minutes. Now the forest app utilizes the Pomodoro timer technique, in which you set a timer for a certain amount of time, usually around 25 to 33 minutes.
