- In iOS 13, it's possible to not only take still screenshots of your device, but you can also do full-screen video recordings. This is useful when you need to record an action or event taking place on your screen that a simple screenshot won't capture. Now screen recording is initiated from Control Center, but the button we need isn't here by default. So first we need to go into Settings, Control Center, Customize Controls, and here add Screen Recording. And you can see it now appears here in the list. So now when I open up Control Center, you can see that we have a Record button down here. Now I can't actually show you this recording right now because of the way I'm recording my iPhone screen for this movie. But what will happen is you'll tap this button, you'll get a three-second countdown, and then you'll be recording your screen.
