- [Instructor] I don't know about you, but I get distracted easily when there's a lot of stuff on my screen that I don't want or need. In this week's Monday Productivity Pointers, I want to take a look at the start menu here in Windows, and I want to talk about getting rid of some these preloaded and suggested apps that you might see here. Now what you see will be different, depending on which version of Windows 10 you're running or you computer's manufacturer. But first thing I see a lot of tiles over here on the right side of the start menu. These were already here when I set up this computer. Now generally, tiles are shortcuts to applications. These applications that you have over here in your main list. So if I click on the tile here for mail, it will launch the mail application that I have here on my list, but some of these preloaded tiles are not links to applications that I already have.
