- [Instructor] In the Exercise Files folder,…I've included a bare bones project…created with Xcode 8 and Swift 3.2.…I've named this OlderProject.…Go ahead and open it up in Xcode 9,…and let's get started.…If you don't have Xcode 9 yet,…it should appear in the App Store…under your Upgrade section…if you already have a previous version installed.…If you don't, you can download the latest version…from the App Store as well…or from your Apple Developer account.…Once the project is done indexing,…we can see that we have some warnings in the navigator.…
So let's check these out.…If you don't want to convert a project right away,…you don't have to by any means.…Let's select the first warning here on Swift conversion,…and make sure that the OlderProject.app is selected.…And here we're going to leave the Swift 4 objective inference…on the recommended option,…as this is going to keep your binary size small.…So click Next.…And I'm going to follow the prompts,…and the conversion warning will be satisfied.…So I'm going to hit OK and Update,…
