- [Man] In this weeks Monday Productivity Pointers I want to show you how to read QR Codes and also how to make your own QR Codes. Take a look at this brochure. You've probably seen weird little graphics like this. This is a QR Code. It's a quick way to give a link to your website or other information to people. All you need is a smartphone with a camera to receive whatever information these QR Codes are trying to give you. On an i-Phone and some Android devices there is a QR Code reader built into the Camera app. Just open up the regular Camera app. I have a printout of this brochure here on my desk so I can point the camera at that QR Code. I get a little notification, I can tap on that and we can see that this is just a link to a website. So, it loads that website here. Now, don't worry if this does not automatically work in the Camera app on your phone.
