Join Todd Perkins for an in-depth discussion in this video How to use the exercise files, part of iOS 11 Development Essential Training: Distributing Your App.
- [Instructor] The exercise files for this course contain two folders. There's the assets folder, which contains some graphics, a movie file, and some screenshots, and a Chapter folder that contains the working files used in the course. On your screen, you're going to see a pop-up that leads into a start folder that takes you all the way down to an Xcode project file. Simply double-click that file to open it up in Xcode, and follow right along.
I've also included the final states of the exercise files for your convenience. So simply navigate to the final folder and then drill down to find the Xcode project file and you have it right there in case for some reason you get lost and you need to see what I ended up with in my files. For those of you who don't have access to the exercise files, you can still follow along, and I'll show you how you can create your projects in the same way so that you can follow along with every step of the course. For the most part, we're going to be using built-in assets in iOS.
Whenever I stray from that, I will explain how you can create similar assets so you can follow along, too.
