- [Instructor] Most of the apps you work with on your iPhone or iPad generally have their own storage systems built in to the apps themselves, but iOS also includes the Files app, which gives you the ability to manage your files and work with them between apps if necessary. Files allows you to save, browse, and work with files both on your device or in the cloud. Let's take a look at how it works. I'll tap the Files app to open it. And here we see the main screen with Browse selected at the bottom. The two main views are Browse and Recents. Recents shows you all the files you've recently worked with, while Browse lets you browse all the various locations where the Files app can access the files stored on your device or in the cloud. Notice over here on the left, we have locations. Now what you see in locations depends on what cloud service apps you have installed on your iPhone or iPad. Files can connect to accounts…
