- [Jess] My name is Jess Stratton and welcome to this week's edition of Monday productivity pointers. If you're an existing Google calendar user, you may notice that it looks a little different or you've seen this button appear on your calendar, an invitation to view the new Google calendar user interface. This week, I'm going to give you a short tour of the new UI. You can get started by clicking the use new calendar button to activate it. Click this once and then the upgrade now button. You will have an opportunity to go back, as long as the old UI still exists, so if you find you don't like it I'll show you how you can revert back to the old version after. We're in the new version and as you can see it's been given a fresh overhaul including font changes and a more simple screen. Over here on the left, you can still click to go to any date on your calendar, you can navigate back and forth through the months. To add new calendars, click the plus sign.
