- [Instructor] In iOS 13 and iPadOS Safari now has a download manager where you can keep track of the files that you download to your device. So if you come across a file that can't be opened by Safari by default, for example like a ZIP file, you can download it to your device to open it up in the files app or other appropriate app. For example, on this page I go to Cycle California, there's a learn more button here, and I know that actually links to a ZIP file. So I select that. It asks me if I want to download this file. So when I tap download you'll see an icon appear in the address bar there in the upper right. And that's my download manager. It'll ask me to watch the progress of the download, and it will also list all the files that I've downloaded. I'll tap the magnifying glass next to the file.
