- [Instructor] In this week's Monday Productivity Pointers I want to talk about distractions in Windows 10. A new Windows computer comes with lots of useful features, but personally it's easy for me to lose my focus when there are lots of dynamic things on the screen to distract me. So I want to share my tips for reducing these distractions in Windows. And I'll start in the Start menu. When I open the Start menu immediately I have information overload. I really have three problems here. First, there are lots of tiles here that I don't use. Second, the live tile animation on some of these tiles is very distracting. These live tile animations do give you really useful information from some of your applications, so you might like this, but for me, small moving objects on the screen draw my attention away from what I'm trying to do. The third problem I have here are these bundled apps and games that come with Windows that I know that I'm never going to use. So let's clean all this up…
