Hi, I'm Garrick Chow and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. Have you ever had to create instructions for someone on how to complete a task on their computer? It can be time consuming to type step-by-step instructions by hand. Windows comes with an application called Steps Recorder that can track what you're doing on screen and automatically generate not just written steps, but also provide screenshots. You can then share the recorded steps with others as a document. Now as a basic example, let's say I want to create a tutorial on how to sign into LinkedIn. I'll start by opening up the Steps Recorder. The easiest way is to click in the search field in the task bar and search for step. There it is, I'll select it. I'll just move that down here. And all we have to do is click start record. And now the recorder will note every time I do something with my mouse or keyboard. I'll open up Google Chrome by going to the…
