Common architectures: iOS App Development: Design Patterns for Mobile Architecture

There are several architectural models that have gained popularity in mobile. MVC (Model View Controller), MVP (Model View Presenter), MVVM (Model View ViewModel), VIPER (View Interactor Presenter Entity Router), and the general concept of a Minimum Viable Architecture. MVC is the default pattern provided, and is a poor solution for the Enterprise application. MVC, MVP, and VIPER all have the concept of layering, and differ primarily in the number of layers, and what we call them. MVA uses all of the different layers, and lets you as the developer decide which is right for your product.
