- [Instructor] As we spend an increasing amount of time on our phones, it's become more important to manage the power usage of our devices. iOS 13 includes a setting entirely for monitoring and managing your device's battery. You can find it by going into Settings, scrolling down and here we'll find Battery. The first thing at the top here is Low Power Mode. It's currently only found on the iPhone and not on the iPad but this feature can be useful when you're running low on battery power or even for when you have a full charge but know you won't be able to plug in for several hours. You can see here in the description that Low Power Mode conserves power by limiting things like downloads and automatic mail fetching. Basically you can continue to us all the functions of your phone but you'll have to manually check for mail and only the app you're currently working in will be active for the most part.
