Batch rename files in macOS

- [Garrick] Hi, I'm Garrick Chow and welcome to Monday Productivity Pointers. I think at one time or another, everyone has been in a situation where they need to rename a large collection of files. Maybe you misspelled the name within the file names or maybe you need to append sequential numbers at the end of the files. So today, let's look at a built-in feature of macOS that allows you to quickly rename a batch of files automatically. This feature is available in macOS 10.10 Yosemite or later. And for this example, I have a folder of 27 photos and these were taken in and around Moab, Utah, and I when add the name Moab to the front of all the file names. Notice we also have some files that have the file extension of .jpg while others have .jpeg, and I want them all to be named consistently with the same extension.
