- [Instructor] Now that we know how to get footage in the iMovie, let's take a moment to examine the iMovie window. Now, if you've never edited video before, it can seem a little daunting but it's actually a pretty simple setup once you know what each section is for. Although there are some key terms and interface elements that you should familiarize yourself with before you actually start using iMovie to edit video. Now, in order to show you all the interface elements I need to, we have to create a new project. We haven't done this yet and I'll cover this more thoroughly in a little bit, but for now I'm going to make sure the project tab is selected up here. And I'm going to click the big plus button. The two types of projects you can create in iMovie are movies and trailers. Most of the time you're going to be creating a movie. Trailers are sort of a novelty project you can put together which we'll look at later.…
